PSYCHOLOGY AND EDUCATION JOURNAL

EDITORIAL STATUS

PSYCHOLOGY AND EDUCATION is a peer-reviewed journal and a publication of the Department of Psychology and Education of the University of Beira Interior.

EDITORIAL POLICY

The PSYCHOLOGY AND EDUCATION journal, published biannually, aims to promote research and publication in both distinct areas (Psychology/Education), and the dialectic that exists between them, particularly in the field of Psychology and Education. The aim is to disseminate the results of empirical studies, as well as theoretical reflections conducted in Portugal and in other countries, accepting articles in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Thus, under the heading Empirical Studies, we will admit research studies of a fundamental or applied nature, as well as articles related to research and intervention methodologies in psychological and educational areas, and the development of psychological and/or educational assessment tools. Under the heading Theoretical Reflections, articles of theoretical-conceptual and critical analysis will be admitted that, by their depth, clearly contribute to the understanding of complex themes in Psychology and Education. The journal will also include thematic reviews and, whenever considered appropriate, a section of short papers, featuring brief articles that fall within the themes outlined above. The target audience of the Psychology and Education journal includes researchers, teachers, psychologists, educators, and students.
